Pricing Creative Services is no easy feat. Everyone has their own opinions about what something is worth, how to charge, how many revisions, etc.
At JC Copy, we understand every project is different. But you should be able to go into a meeting and understand the jumping off point. That’s what this page is for.
With our agency, we’ve decided to take a Value Pricing approach. The more valuable our work compared to the potential new customer value brought to you will greatly affect our price. For example, writing a commercial for the Super Bowl is worth more and is more valuable than the exact same commercial written for a 2 am time slot on a local channel.
This is not the easiest to regularly compute, but we’ve developed guidelines based on this to bring you rough parameters on how much you can expect to pay.
We do not charge by the hour. Many “full service” agencies go a ‘Cost-Plus’ model which is taking the hourly billable cost and padding in some profit.
This is inefficient for you and scary for you. Do you really want to be sweating, worrying about what the bill is going to be when it comes (think attorneys or your trip to the Emergency Room)?
You know exactly what you’ll pay before you sign on the line. Typically, we also provide a 10% discount if you pay the contract in full upfront (this is only reserved for those with a fixed monthly amount contract). All other one-time projects are expected to be paid upfront.
NOTE: We are flexible on our price especially with smaller budgets. In that case, we can find “creative” ways to work together that is a win-win. TELEVISION COMMERCIAL: $1,500 – $5,000 per spot
RADIO AD: $500 – $3,000 per spot
GOOGLE/FACEBOOK AD: $250 – $1,500 per ad
BLOG POSTS: $125 – $400 per blog post
CASE STUDY: $1,500 – $5,000 per case study
WHITE PAPER: $2,500 – $6,000 per white paper
EMAIL MARKETING: $250 – $1,500 per e-mail
LINKEDIN MARKETING: $1500-$4000 per month
FACEBOOK MARKETING: $1500-$4000 per month

A 1-Hour Strategy session with Joe is $250 – $1,000 per hour.
NOTE: All prices above include strategy sessions and consulting built-in as it’s inevitable.
Many of the above services, when combined, can be set up as a fixed month agreement so the total can be broken out in monthly bite-size pieces.
